YouTube contains a wealth of knowledge for all kinds of information seekers, including those of us looking to earn money via side hustles. As many do, I fell down the rabbit hole of YouTube side hustles early in my side gig career.
Sadly, there are many YouTubers out there who don’t create reliable, valuable content when it comes to making extra money. Either they’re promoting a scam–or worse, a course–or they’re gatekeeping the real knowledge needed to learn a new skill or be successful at a side hustle.
Regardless of where you’re at in your side hustle journey, I understand the stress of pouring through hours of YouTube videos trying to find a side hustle that will actually pay you. My goal is to eliminate that time for you or at least help streamline the process.
During my time sifting through money-centric YouTube channels, I found a number of channels that provide reliable content about side hustles. The best thing about this list of side hustle YouTubers is that they don’t all primarily create content about side hustles. Some are extremely large channels that create entrepreneurial business videos, and others are really small channels with money-related niches.
These 14 YouTube channels actually helped me earn money and taught me how to do it.
Table of Contents
1) Your Driver Mike
Your Driver Mike is a YouTube channel specifically dedicated to side hustles. Mike, the channel’s creator, tests different side hustles but mainly sticks to delivery apps like DoorDash and uberEATS. However, he does branch out to different side gigs quite a bit.
If you’re looking to learn about a variety of different, legitimate side hustle options, Your Driver MIke is right for you. He gives hands-on information about the side hustles he tests and how the process goes.
I learned that side hustles involving cars, which include Uber, DoorDash, etc., are not for me. That’s right, after watching his videos I figured out that I just didn’t like that kind of work and didn’t want to put that kind of wear on my car doing those side hustles.
His channel has more than 100,000 subscribers at the time of publishing this article. I extremely advise you to check him out.
2) Income School
Writers who want to earn extra money from home should tune in to Income School. With more than 200,000 subscribers, Ricky Kesler and the Income School team create content about blogging, SEO and website monetization.
Income School taught me a lot about how I can monetize my blog in different ways. If I hadn’t already had a large background in SEO then I would’ve bought their course as I feel like it’s a valuable one that actually will teach writers to make money via their own blogs.
Every video on this channel is broken down into laymen’s terms and provides detailed information about current blogging trends. I actively watch this channel and enjoy it.
You can check out Income School here.
3) Daily Refinement
Daily Refinement features an ex-eBay reseller who was actually banned from selling on eBay forever! So why do I tune in to this channel? Because the creator is an eBay reselling expert who actively shares great advice on what’s happening in the eBay community and platform.
Most eBay resellers are already familiar with Daily Refinement, but if you aren’t, you need to familiarize yourself with this channel. He covers everything from filing eBay income taxes to BOLO items and more.
His channel has more than 100,000 subscribers and is still growing even though the creator does not sell on eBay anymore. That’s how valuable his information is to us.
Every eBay reseller should do themselves a favor and subscribe to Daily Refinement now.
4) Shaun Marrs
Shifting to a much smaller channel, Shaun Marrs specializes in online businesses. Specifically, I like to watch his blogging income videos. He started a blog from scratch and works on building up its traffic and income every month.
Shaun only has about 8,000 subscribers at the time of publishing this article. Recently, he removed several videos from his channel, but the remaining videos he has up still contain a lot of information. Check out his channel and see for yourself.
5) Kevin – Financial Tutor
Kevin – Financial Tutor is one of my favorite YouTubers for side hustles and general finance information. He tries out a variety of side hustles and gives reliable reviews about whether or not they are really worth your time. In the world of side hustles, not wasting time is extremely valuable and Kevin is here to help.
He starts different businesses, tries trending side hustles and even house hacks his home to receive rental income. Kevin is making extra money from every angle and does not gatekeep any of the information he learns. If there was one creator on this list that I wished published more videos, it would be Kevin.
At the time of publishing this video, Kevin only has about 50,000 subscribers for his channel. In my opinion, this number should be way higher for the content value of his videos. Subscribe to his channel and start learning legitimate ways to earn more money.
6) Biaheza
Biaheza is one of the more well-known YouTubers on this list. He’s all about starting businesses, with his favorite being dropshipping. It’s insane that he actually has taken a step back from YouTube to focus on his dropshipping business because that’s how much he’s making from it.
His videos are not only informational but extremely enjoyable to watch. He’s a funny guy who has a lot of great money-making knowledge to share with his audience of million-plus subscribers.
Watch his channel and see for yourself.
7) How Much?
How Much? is an underrated channel where my guy Idan tries unique side hustles that usually involve Bitcoin to some degree. If it wasn’t for Idan, I would’ve never learned about how powerful Bitcoin miners could be and how much people are actually making with them.
But Idan doesn’t just do Bitcoin, he also tests out traditional side hustles like uberEats. However, he mainly focuses on Bitcoin rigs, miners and similar content.
His channel has more than 100,000 subscribers and is very enjoyable to watch. Check him out.
8) JAMIE AND SARAH
JAMIE AND SARAH are side hustle relationship goals. These two do just about every kind of selling/reselling side hustle there is. From flipping items on eBay to selling things locally on Facebook. The couple has recently gotten into real estate as well.
I found this channel while digging into information about flipping Amazon return pallets. These two are completely transparent about where they buy their return pallets, how much they pay for them, what’s inside the pallets, how they’re selling the items and how much they make.
This channel has a very straightforward vibe to it, no smoke and mirrors. I mean these two will quickly describe how they lost–or made–a ton of money on a whim. This is extremely refreshing when it comes to YouTube finance/money content.
The couple has racked up more than 100,000 well-deserved YouTube subscribers. You will enjoy watching their content, I promise.
9) Lili Invests
The Lili Invests YouTube channel is all about real estate. Lili, the creator, is always putting some house under contract or rehabbing a home or something else. If you’re interested in real estate, she breaks down all the math and goes into detail about her business process.
I’d just like to make a personal note that I’ve been following Lili’s channel since she only had a few thousand subscribers and now she’s sitting around 200,000. Her content is easy to digest and extremely informational.
10) Osborn2Thrift
Back to eBay resellers, Osborn2Thrift is a great smaller channel that makes a killing with the creator’s reselling business. The channel only has a little more than 30,000 subscribers, but the information he provides is packed with value.
The creator’s point of view on reselling comes from a different angle, in my opinion. His parents own a thrift store and I feel like the ability to have that kind of pre-owned item market information is extremely helpful when he’s explaining how his items are selling.
Watch a video and see for yourself.
11) Reyes The Entrepreneur
Another well-known YouTube side hustle channel is Reyes The Entrepreneur. Reyes is in love with building businesses and it shows on his channel. It feels like this guy is never sleeping and is always doing something to bolster a business of his.
My favorite Reyes The Entrepreneur videos are:
- His entrepreneur interview videos, where he interviews small business owners as they complete their day.
- His reselling videos.
- His really early videos that detail his time living in his car and working hourly wages to afford an apartment and start a new life.
Reyes is also a funny guy in general and his 500,000 YouTube subscribers would agree with me.
12) thelifeofawriter
When I was publishing my first e-book on Amazon KDP, I watched several thelifeofawriter YouTube videos to help me figure out the formatting process.
It’s a smaller channel with about 40,000 subscribers, but the creator is so down to Earth and clear with her words. Probably because she’s a writer and understands what her audiences need to actually learn.
Her videos are great for writers at every level, but I found I benefited the most when I was just starting out because she explains everything so well.
Every online writer should check out thelifeofawriter’s YouTube channel.
13) Pure Hustle Podcast
I first discovered Pure Hustle Podcast from their podcast. Mike and Orlando have an extremely large podcast following that just doesn’t who on their YouTube channel, which only has about 8,000 subscribers. The two talk about reselling on eBay and how sellers can earn more money on the platform.
You can catch every YouTube video these two upload in podcast form, but you can only catch their Monday Mini episodes on YouTube. I find these Monday minis to be extremely valuable nuggets of information that are easy to digest.
Do yourself a favor and check them out if you’re into reselling on eBay.
14) Hairy Tornado
The last side hustle channel on this list is likely the most well known. Hairy Tornado and his wife are full-time eBay resellers who love to take the camera along with them on their adventures. They hit up all kinds of thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales searching for goods to resell on eBay.
New resellers can learn a lot from Hairy’s channel and veteran resellers can always pick up new BOLOs and items to look for. It’s a great channel to learn about making money on eBay.
Check out Hairy Tornado’s YouTube channel.
Side hustle YouTube channel takeaways
Every YouTube channel on that list has taught me legitimate side hustle information and helped me earn more money while saving time. Subscribing to these channels and taking in the knowledge these creators provide will help you become more profitable over time, trust me.
Not all of these YouTubers focus on side hustles in general, they all have plenty of videos talking about making extra income in one way or another.
