Try These Textbroker Writing Alternatives

Posted on May 16, 2022May 16, 2022 by Marx D.

If you’re looking for Textbroker alternatives as an online writer then you might find the list pretty daunting. Don’t worry, I’m only going to include alternatives to Textbroker that I’ve tried and know work.

Most of these Textbroker alternatives pay better than Textbroker for the same amount of work. Some of them also allow you to find more consistent work. Content mills can be tough to work for so finding the right one is important.

Let’s dive in.

  • Copify
  • Constant Content
  • Medium
  • iWriter

Copify – Better pay than Textbroker for less work

Copify is my first choice for an immediate alternative to Textbroker. It pays new writers double the amount Textbroker does (2 cents per word instead of 1).

I’ve found the number of available jobs on Copify to be abundant. I’m usually always seeing new opportunities to earn money in the dashboard. Writers don’t always see jobs on Textbroker, it can be hard to come by paying gigs there.

Also, Copify is available for writers in the UK and the USA.

Constant Content – Better pay than Textbroker

Constant Content is less of a content mill and more of a catalog for your best work. It pays better than Textbroker because you get to set your own prices for your work.

The only downfall of Constant Content is you have to wait until a client buys your work to be paid. This could be months or even years.

Of course, if you are always uploading new stories to Constant Content then there is a higher chance of making sales. It’s just like reselling items on eBay, the more you list the greater chance you have of making a sale.

From the several sales I’ve made on Constant Content, I’ve never made under $50. Keep in mind that none of those stories were more than 600 words in length. You do the math for how much I made per word.

Medium – Can scale your earnings

Another great Textbroker alternative is writing on Medium. Medium is your chance to scale and grow your writing. You can start writing on Medium and build both your income and audience.

Of course, Medium is not a content mill. It’s more like a blog site in a controlled environment run by a team of curators.

Even if you only like content mills, I suggest doing some research on Medium because it gives you a chance to expand your reach as a writer.

iWriter – Better pay than Textbroker

Writing for iWriter pays better than Textbroker, but work is hit-or-miss. Or at least that’s what I’ve found in my experience on the site. They usually pay new writers 2 cents per word, but work is rare.

You can always sign up for iWriter and see how you like it, but I honestly suggest trying the last 3 suggestions I dished out first.

Takeaway: Find Textbroker alternatives fast

Even if you enjoy using Textbroker, you should always be looking for and aware of alternative writing platforms. It gives you more places to earn money and diversifies your writing. You don’t want all your eggs in one basket.
